The band is made up of musicians from both Glasgow and Edinburgh so we have easy access to both locations! We all have a passion for good ceilidh music and thoroughly enjoy entertaining the dancers. With several years of ceilidh experience behind us we have dealt with nearly every ceilidh circumstance too. We have even played weddings that have run on time! That hardly ever happens!

What can you expect from us?

When you book the band you can expect a completely professional and helpful service up to and including the event. We are as keen to be organized as you are! On the night we will turn up in plenty time and set everything up quietly and as neatly as possible. From start to finish you will get every dance explained clearly (if you want) by an experienced and friendly band member. We ask for a short break in the middle of the evening often used for a buffet or teas and coffees. This gives the band, the dancers and your ears a wee rest. Typically we will play for 3 hours not including the break. We have found that after playing for that long the dancers get tired. We know events do not always go to plan so we always remain flexible with times.

Payment

Each event is different so we don't have a set price. We will cater the price relating to what your budget is and what you want. The best way to get a quote is to email us using the information in the 'contact us' section. Generally we ask for a £100 deposit when you book the band and then the full balance on the night of the event.
